Dear Foster City Little League Families,

Even though weather was rough last week, I was really happy to see the teams out and having fun throughout the weekend. We are ready to kick off our fundraising efforts for this season.  Last year we made the decision to streamline our fundraising by going online via 99 Pledges. You will be able to reach out to friends and family by email, Facebook, and Twitter, instead of going door-to-door, tracking commitments, and handling checks.

In the coming days, you will receive an email with a link to your participant's pledge page. You do not need to login or change anything. Simply make a donation for whatever you can, and share your participant's link with friends and family. We are shooting for 100% participation and are trying to get $100 raised per player in the league.  This money helps cover costs for equipment, training, junior scorekeepers and umpires, to name just a few of the many things we handle throughout the season.

Remember, Foster City Little League is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization which means all the donations are tax deductible!

If you do not receive the email for whatever reason, simply search and find your participant's online pledge page here: https://99pledges.com/fund/2018fcllfanfest

If you're interested in posting or sharing your player's site, here's a sample text you can use: NAME is participating in a fundraiser, and would love your support. If you'd like to donate, you can do so online at the following link: YOUR PLEDGE PAGE URL

We have more information coming around our Picture Day and Fan Fest on 3/18, but please don't wait to start helping us fundraise for the season!

Regards,

David Saito
