Title: Understanding the FCLL Draft and Player Evaluations (tryouts)
When: Friday, January 10, 2020, 6:30-8:30pm. FC Rec Center - Crane Room.
Target audience: open to all adult members of the FCLL community (includes parents), with upper division coaches especially invited.
* What are the key dates for upper division team formation?
* What is the purpose of the player evaluation session, and what happens on the field?
* What is the purpose of the draft, and how is it conducted?
* Important draft mechanics: draft order, sibling and coach options, must-drafts, etc.
Please ensure your player is there at least 30 minutes ahead of time to warm-up. Players must come ready to play with, at the minimum, their own baseball glove, cleats, and an athletic supporter or they will not be allowed to participate in the evaluations. We will have helmets and a few bats if you do not have one.
Also, our training coordinators are putting together a "mock evaluation" session on Saturday, 1/4 from 10-11:30am on B4 at Sea Cloud Park. All AAA and Majors eligible players are welcome to attend.
If you did not recive a message and/or need to reschedule please reach out to David Saito at email@example.com.
