Thank you to Jason Louie and Rocky Moy for hosting the FCLL educational event with a specific focus on the draft/player evaluation. We had 13+ families join us for this event. More educational events means more kids have access to baseball!  At FCLL, we want all kids to have access to the wonderful game of baseball!

Title: Understanding the FCLL Draft and Player Evaluations (tryouts)

Target audience:  open to all adult members of the FCLL community. All upper division (majors and AAA) managers, coaches and assistant coaches are strongly encouraged to attend. AA families are also invited in order to learn about the upper division player evaluation process.

Topics covered:

 *   What are the key dates for upper division team formation?
 *   What is the purpose of the player evaluation session, and what happens on the field?
 *   What is the purpose of the draft, and how is it conducted?
 *   Important draft mechanics: draft order, sibling and coach options, must-drafts, etc.
